We want Brain Groove to be playable and enjoyable for as many people as possible. Accessibility isn't a feature we bolted on — it shapes how we design every game.

We never rely on color alone — every cue also uses an icon, shape, or label, so meaning stays clear for color-blind players.
Buttons and tiles are sized to be easy to tap accurately on phone and tablet, with comfortable spacing.
Play with a keyboard, not just touch — and not just the menus. Number games use the keypad, and grid games map every cell to a key laid out like the board.
Brain Groove follows your system appearance and switches to a tuned dark theme automatically — easier on the eyes in low light, with contrast checked in both light and dark.
Turn on Reduce Motion in your device settings and Brain Groove respects it: sliding transitions become gentle fades, the countdown and score reveal settle without movement, and the wrong-answer shake is switched off.
Every game has a Practice mode with the clock switched off, so you can learn and play at your own pace. Each game also includes a quick visual tutorial the first time you play, and you can re-open it anytime.
Puzzles are hand-tuned and fair — for example, Defuse boards are vetted to be solvable without guessing. Difficulty adapts to you, easing back after a miss so the game stays in a comfortable, motivating zone rather than becoming frustrating.
For categories that don't depend on sight, you can navigate and play with VoiceOver or TalkBack — menus, game controls, and results are labeled for screen readers. We're honest about the limits, though: some of our games, especially in the Visualize category, are inherently visual, and there's no meaningful way to describe them through a screen reader, so we don't claim those work with VoiceOver or TalkBack.
Accessibility is ongoing work, not a finished checklist. If something is hard to use, or you have a suggestion that would make Brain Groove work better for you, we genuinely want to hear it.
Email accessibility@braingroove.app with feedback, barriers you've hit, or ideas. Real player input is how we make the game better for everyone.
